February 23, 2019
Join the fun at DogFest Phoenix, a community-based walk and festival that brings dog lovers together for a cause. Whether you have a dog or simply love them, spend the day at DogFest and celebrate our canine friends and heroes that bring joy to our lives. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their mission of matching assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. These expertly-trained assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.
Gather your friends, family and dogs and head to Scottsdale Civic Center Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 23, 2019 for the 5th annual DogFest Phoenix. Everyone is invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more! Registration is free. Fundraising is encouraged.
Hear ye, hear ye! Mayor of Scottsdale, W. J. "Jim" Lane, has proclaimed February 23, 2019 to be Canine Companions for Independence Day!
Last year's event raised over $50,000 and was a fantastic event for the community, closing out 2018 with a huge presence in the Fiesta Bowl Parade!
So don’t miss out on DogFest. Join the fun and give a dog a job.
