DogFest San Diego is celebrating the community of people and dogs that make it possible for Canine Companions to place assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans free of charge. These highly-trained assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do, including opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Join the fun on September 9!

Grab your friends, family and dogs and head to NTC Park at Liberty Station in San Diego on September 9 for the 5th annual DogFest San Diego benefiting Canine Companions for Independence. Furry friends and families are invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more! Registration is free.

2017 was DogFest San Diego's most successful event, and we are back to do it again! Let's raise some money and have a great time sharing the mission of Canine Companions for Independence out in the San Diego sunshine.

We look forward to celebrating with our supporters, graduates, volunteers, and friends!

In memory of Cath Phillips, beloved Canine Companions puppy raiser, breeder caretaker, and class instructor, DogFest San Diego is introducing the “Double Teams” match. Here’s the scoop: You form a team then recruit a friend to form a second team. Once each of the two team captains raises $125, it will be matched for a total of $250!
double teams
Chew on this:
1. Form a Team.
2. Recruit a second captain to form another team. Once your Double Teams are registered, start the fun of fundraising!
3. If by Thursday, August 9th, each team captain has raised at least $125, you both are eligible for the match. Simply email Sam Williams with the team and team captain names.
4. Double the money: each team captain will then receive a $125 match under their name in memory of Cath Phillips; $250 in total!
Note: Applies to the first 40 Double Teams. Teams can only receive the monies once.

So don’t miss out on DogFest. Join the fun - and Give a Dog a Job.
