DOGFEST NORTH IDAHO! Canine Companions For Independence - FUNDRAISER!
Hello friends and family...I'm Chairing the first North Idaho DogFest Walk n Roll for Canine Companions For Independence on July 28, 2018. I'm taking this on because I've seen the wonderful work this organization does by placing highly trained assistance dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
"Evie" (my 4th pup to raise for Canine Companions) and I will join many other volunteers and participants, dogs and families, for a day of fun events, crazy games for people and dogs, doggy demos, fun booths, and a chance to meet the real "hero's"...our graduate teams and learn how their lives have been changed. You'll also meet our pups in training!
Leading up to the event, we’re raising money to support Canine Companions. The impact they make on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Can you help me meet my fundraising goal by donating online? You can donate individually on my Team or form a Team of your own through your office, business, or group of friends who value the remarkable things our dogs can do to help the disabled community.
C.C.I. has over 400 people on the waiting list to receive their skilled dogs. The cost to support a dog & partner from start to finish is $50,000. If you do the giving, I’ll do the work... and the walk, so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companion Assistance Dogs into the lives of those who need them. Help me work toward taking just one name off the waitiing list!
Canine Companions For Independence is a 501c3 charitable organization. They receive no Federal funding and rely completely on donations from businesses, service groups, grants and private donations.
We are happy to annouce that Dr. Marty Becker (American's Vet) will be our Honorary Chair!
Thank you for sharing the love...
Lilly & Evie
