Christa Bee Wiggin and Jumah & Stacy be Waggin
I’m walking in DogFest on October 1st because I love dogs, and I believe in Canine Companions for Independence and their mission to provide highly-trained assistance dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Jumah, Stacy, and I will join other dogs and their owners for a day of fun, festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, and more.
Leading up to the event, we’re raising money to support Canine Companions. The impact they make on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Jumah does work as a CCI dog, he had a change of career, but he still works hard every day as a Comfort Dog to improve the lives of our students at P.S. 200. Even when he isn't working in school Jumah leaves pawprints on the hearts of everyone he meets and now Stacy has begun to do the same! Pleas help me exceed my fundraising goal by donating online.
If you do the giving, I’ll do the walking so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions assistance dogs into the lives of those who need them.
Thanks for your support!
